Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how kumar ("we", "us") handles personal data when you use Yarrio. It applies in addition to the Telegram Privacy Policy, which governs Telegram itself.
1. Data we collect
- Account data that Telegram shares with every bot: your Telegram user ID, name, username and language setting.
- Content data: files you send to Yarrio, together with their name, size, type and caption, and the titles and settings you choose for your links.
- Usage data: when your links are opened and by which accounts, and how you use our features.
- Payment data: records of Telegram Stars transactions for Plus. We never receive your card or bank details.
- Support and safety data: reports, appeals and messages you send to us, and records of moderation decisions.
2. How we use it
- to provide the service: storing your files, creating links and delivering files to the people you share them with
- to show you statistics about your links
- to enforce limits, prevent abuse and keep the service secure
- to review reports, respond to legal requests and meet our legal obligations
- to process Plus payments and handle refunds
- to improve the service using aggregated statistics
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Access to file contents
We do not access the contents of your files, except when reviewing a report, responding to a valid legal request or investigating a breach of our Terms.
4. Sharing
- People you share with see the files in your link, the link's title, and the file names and sizes.
- Telegram hosts and delivers the files under its own Privacy Policy.
- Authorities: we disclose data when required by law or by a valid order from a court or government authority.
- Service providers who host our systems, under obligations of confidentiality and security.
5. Retention
- Links and file records are kept while the link is active and for up to 180 days afterwards, for safety and legal reasons.
- Usage data is kept until you delete your account.
- Records needed to prevent repeat abuse, such as suspensions and identifiers of removed files, are kept as long as necessary for that purpose.
- Payment records are kept as required by law.
6. Security
We use encryption, access controls and regular backups to protect your data. Link passwords are stored only in a secure, irreversible hashed form. No system is completely secure, and we will notify you and the relevant authorities of a personal data breach as required by law.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may:
- access a summary of the personal data we hold about you
- correct or update it
- delete your data at any time with /deleteme in the bot
- withdraw consent, which may stop us from providing the service
- raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer, and then with the Data Protection Board of India
We respond to requests within 30 days.
8. Children
Yarrio is not intended for anyone under 18 without the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be announced in the bot.
